Jaguar Rescue Center

The Jaguar Rescue Center is a temporary or permanent home for ill, injured and orphaned animals. With a focus on birds, reptiles, amphibians and small primates, the JRC provides veterinary services, round-the-clock care and comfort to animals that would otherwise be unable to survive in the rainforest or the sea of the Caribbean. ARA Project – Macaws

The Manzanillo field station, located in a primary tropical rainforest, is a truly inspiring natural experience.  A protected habitat for the Great-green macaws and other forest life, the tour includes spectacular views of the forest, ocean, and the stunning Great Green Macaws flying overhead in their natural home. Three different species of Toucan are seen almost daily, as well as monkeys, frogs, reptiles and a host of other bird life. Rescue Release Night Tour

Enjoy this evening tour as a local guide walks you through the release property utilized by the Jaguar Rescue Center. Here, they begin the process of re-integrating various wildlife back into their natural habitat. This evening tour provides a chance for tourists to see forest nightlife they might otherwise never see. You won’t want to miss it! Simply ask our staff to set it up for you.
